Ideagen InPhase goes to the HSJ Patient Safety Congress 2024!

Ideagen InPhase and a collection of experts attended the annual HSJ’s Patient Safety Congress for the third year in a row! This year’s Patient Safety Congress, held on September 16th and 17th, centered around the theme “Honest Conversations: Creating Safety in a System Under Pressure.”
Engaging Conversations at Stand 22
Throughout the event, Stand 22 was bustling with activity, as you all came to talk to us.
We had some amazing conversations with those of you who came to visit us and share insights about their work, aspirations, and unwavering commitment to patient safety and improvement – we really loved talking to you all! Some common themes came out of our chats over the two days at the Congress.
Customizable solutions for your unique needs
One of the main things that came up in our discussions with you was your interest in a customizable patient safety and assurance system that gives you the flexibility to tailor your system to your own specific workflows.
Ideagen InPhase’s ability to adapt to changing needs without limitations resonated strongly with attendees, who expressed excitement about the potential for a truly customized experience.
Triangulation for targeted improvement
Another key thing that came up was triangulation and how many of you wanted a solution that brings together all of your datasets into one, single system that helps you pinpoint specific areas for improvement.
Ideagen InPhase tools are designed to foster a patient-safety-focused culture, including intuitive incident reporting forms that can be easily customized with local questions, as well as out-of-the-box dashboards that provide real-time updates for accurate insights.
Spotlight on Martha’s Rule
This year, the most frequently discussed topic was Martha’s Rule, highlighting the importance of effectively tracking, managing, and improving data related to Calls for Concern and CCOT teams.
Attendees were eager to learn about how the Ideagen InPhase system can significantly reduce the time spent by data leads on organizing and analyzing CCOT data, ultimately driving quality improvement across their organizations and had amazing reactions to seeing the new app up close.
Looking forward: continuing the conversation
The Patient Safety Congress 2024 was an enriching experience filled with valuable insights and engaging discussions. We look forward to continuing these important conversations as we work together to enhance patient safety in healthcare systems across the country.
